We are a friendly Church family with a life-transforming faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We have a good mix of different ages, backgrounds and racial origins. Our diversity and the spiritual unity we enjoy in Jesus are things that we celebrate and for which we thank God.
We are Bible based and evangelical, which means that God's Word is our sole and final authority for what we believe and how we live, and that our one sure hope is in the death of Jesus on the cross for our sins and in His triumphant rising again from the dead - a hope that we seek to share with others.
In our worship we enjoy drawing on the heritage of the past and the growing resources of the present. We believe in the power of prayer, the nurture of fellowship and the life affirming nature of God's love and purpose in our lives.
We are an independent evangelical church, meaning that we are not part of any denomination but are self-governed under the authority of Jesus Christ. However, we recognise too the great value and importance of fellowship with other Bible-based churches so we are affiliated to the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC) and subscribe to its Statement of Faith.
The area around the Church comprises a high-rise estate, old terraced housing and pockets of new build housing. The adjacent Wimbledon Greyhound Stadium site is to be redeveloped providing a new home for AFC Wimbledon and 600 plus new homes. St George's University Hospital, Tooting Leisure Centre, Earlsfield and Tooting Broadway are within walking distance from the Church.
Please feel free to come along and meet with us. You will be assured of a warm welcome. If you wish to ask about the Christian faith or have questions about being a disciple of Jesus send us an email. (See our Contact page)
